Time and space for side events may be offered to nominees or organisations, subject to alignment with the themes of the conference and approval by the conference committee. Side events may be held during the morning, before the official start time for the conference sessions, during the lunch break, or in the afternoon following the close of the conference sessions.
Meeting room space for additional workshops, meetings etc may be available on a first-come, first served basis on the day after the close of the main Cohab 3 conference, on Friday 18th September 2026.
Allocation of times for side events and meeting rooms will be subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis and at the discretion of the conference organisers.
Nominees or organisations wishing to host a side event are requested to apply for a space in their letter of nomination, and provide the following details to include are as follows:
Side events will be up to 1 hour in duration. A fee of €150 will be applicable to side events to cover costs of additional administration and resourcing.
Persons or organisations may propose up to three side events. Collaborative events hosted by more than one organisation are particularly encouraged.
For meeting rooms on Friday September 18th, the following details are requested:
Additional meeting rooms are available on 18th September for a maximum of 3 hours.
For meeting rooms on 18th September, a fee of €250 is applicable.
Responses to side event and meeting room applications will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the application, at which time further details may be requested.
